How to Choose a Camera

In taking pictures with my little Kodak EasyShare C633 camera, I've realized some of my pictures turn out pretty blurry. So I began looking up information on line about cameras. Some of the info suggested that it may be the photographer.(Hummm ... that would be me.) And other places discussed how important the megapixels aren't and how important the optical zoom is. My camera has a 3x optical zoom which should be alright. But I don't get very clear shots. I did find out that this particular camera doesn't always get a high user rating. (What???) So that makes me feel better. Maybe it's not just me after all. So now the question is, "How well do you like your camera?" And what kind do you wish you had? Summer and Tiffy both speak for Cannon. So... anybody out there have an opinion???

I personally have a Cannon PowerShot A1000IS and it has been a great little point-and-shoot camera. If you want something more fancy, Cannon and Nikon are generally both good. Nikon probably has good point-and-shoot cameras as well--I just don't have any experience with one of theirs.
