Here is a picture of the birthday bunny I made for one of my grandchildren. I used chenille for the bunny and tulle for the tutu. The shoes are cotton scraps I had left over from another project. Well actually, I already had all of it. It was easier to use chenille than fake fur because it turns easier. I didn't have a bunny pattern so I altered a bear pattern. The eyes are shank buttons and I used a grosgrain ribbon as the waist band.
Here are the matching black and white baby shoes I made for my granddaughter. They are lined with white satin. I did have to buy little black flowers to go on the toes. In this picture I hadn't gone to the store yet. (So just close your eyes and visualize the little black flowers on the toes.)
They actually fit. I was delighted.
